Pictures on the top of the Okmulgee Water Tower
Icing on the Cake!
Here are some pictures showing the abnormally severe icing on our antennas on the Okmugee Water Tower. It took me about 1/2 hour to knock off all the ice from our antenna feedhorns. You can bet that all our other systems are just as iced up! This is why service was interrupted, and why it will be spotty until all this ice melts.
The Okmulgee water tower can be safely climbed, even in ice and snow, and we took the opportunity to clean off the feedhorns on Sunday afternoon. Service to Morris and Schulter returned as a result.
On Monday, a lot of ice melted and more systems came back online. We expect all antennas to be cleared by Wednesday, and full speeds and throughput will be back!
These are color pictures, notice how they appear to be black and white due to the ice covering!
