Setting Up Email with an Apple MacIntosh Computer

We have very few customers with Apple MacIntosh computers, so our experience is very limited. Due to this, we are only providing general guidelines for setting up your email account. We cannot guide you to specific menus, you will have to look for them.

You will first need to open the preferences section for your email program. The following information needs to be entered into the appropriate fields, and then saved before exiting. Once you enter your information, you can test the email by sending one to yourself.

Here is the necessary information to be entered:

1. You will need to enter your email name, such as you@onalot.com
2. You will need to enter your password and remember it.
3. The incoming email server is pop3.onalot.com
4. The outgoing email server is smtp.onalot.com
5. The incoming email server port number is 110
6. The outgoing email server port number is 2501 - note that this is usually just 25, so be sure to change it.
