OnALot.com has been offering High Speed Internet service for years, and all our systems have been "General Population" systems, which means that everyone on that system shares the bandwidth. Some systems have over 20 users which can cause slowdowns or high lag times for users with high demands. For most users, this is not a problem, but for those of you who must have higher performance, then the WOW systems are ideal!

Equipment Costs: If you are an existing customer installed after March 2009, there is a $20 fee to switch over. Customers prior to March 2009 may need to buy our high performance radio for a one-time fee of $150. New customers will pay our normal installation rates.
User Levels: Note that there are levels of users on the system. This means that for the WOW-1 system, you would be the only user and get the full up and down speeds shown. You would also experience the lowest lag and ping times. The WOW-3 system has a maximum of 3 users on it, and you would share the speeds with the other users. Same goes for the WOW-5 system with a maximum of 5 users. These would have some lag times, but they would be minimal compared to our General Population systems.
The WOW-20 systems are what we consider to be our General Population systems. All of our newer systems will be WOW-20 systems. Our current Legacy systems will remain as-is to support our current customer base, with WOW-20 systems added as needed.

Payment Terms
Because we must contract for dedicated High Speed lines, we require you to pay for the WOW 1, 3 and 5 services using a valid credit card, and that you sign a 1 year contract for service. There will be cancellation fees should you drop the service.
