Welty System About To Come Online

We will be adding a new, fast system to the water tower on Hwy 48 just south of Welty. We expect this system to be up and running on 7/30 following some testing. At that time, customers in that area can begin service. Our associate, Michael Lawrence will be managing this system, and his extensive knowledge of the area will allow customers to realize speeds that they are not accustomed to, all at a lower price than what they have been paying.. Call us for more information - we'll be glad to tell you all about it!

Behind the scenes @ OnALot.com

Here is a picture of John working on the Mounds system, 160 feet above ground. This was taken by our associate, Michael Lawrence from the 175 foot platform of this 192' tower. We found a frayed cable and fixed it before it affected our customer base. Stopping for a quick break at the 130 foot level, with Bristow in the background. And HERE is a picture from the top of the Welty tower, where a new system is going to be installed by Michael to service the Welty, IXL and South Bristow areas.

Salem Now Has High Speed Wireless Internet!

Salem is now served by 2 new systems! We installed these on the RWD#5 water tower near the Bussey Dairy, just across the Indian Nation Turnpike from Salem. One system is a lower power WIFI system which serves the immediate area around the tower, and the other is an NLOS system that easily covers the town of Salem. Here's a map of our coverage area. Tests show really great speeds, way better than dialup and satellite! Call us for more information!

Grayson / Kusa / Hwy 266 Upgrades Coming Shortly - Work Has Begun

Update 7/29: We installed a new, more powerful link radio on the Grayson water tower. This radio "talks" to Hwy266 and Kusa, and is 6X more powerful, and 5X faster than the old link radio. The Grayson system was offline for a short while as we did the work, and all systems are now restored to normal. We will be adding upgrades to Grayson, Hwy266 and Kusa over the next few weeks, and will announce these on this page.

We will be splitting off the Grayson system from the Kusa / Hwy266 systems, and then doubling the speed of each system. Grayson will be twice as fast with fewer customers on that data line, and Kusa / Hwy 266 will have it's own high speed data line, also 2X as fast as the current one. We will also need to reprogram some of our customer's radios and routers to accomodate the new data lines. We will need to make a significant change to the link on the Henryetta water tower, which feeds these systems, and once that is done, the rest of the work should be relatively easy.

As our customer base grows, this allows us to purchase more high speed data lines to meet the demand. We thank you for your continued support - you make this all possible!

Weleetka System Issue

Our main radio hub is located on the Weleetka police department tower. The PD has installed a new antenna and radios, and an interference problem has surfaced. They occasionally turn our system off to hear through the static, and we are going to address this issue as soon as the winds stop. Please bear with us, we are working on it.

OnALot Now Carries Surge Protectors

We do a lot of installs where the customer has no AC protection at all. Power lines get hit by lightning, which travels into your house and can destroy computers, printers, monitors and such. We have a supply of 7 outlet power strips, each outlet has a child protector slide, and they have 885 joules of protection. And, with a 6' cord, they're only $10. Ask for one when you get installed!

Extreme Performance Radio Upgrade Special

Over the years, wireless technology has changed and improved. We've stayed up with it, and have installed the latest radio technology as it became available. About 18 months ago, a new and very much improved radio became available, and we now use them throughout our system as backhauls and links. These backhaul radios are quite expensive, and that put them out of the reach of the average customer's budget. The good news is, the company that produces them now makes a model that is affordable enough for customers, and we will be installing them in our newer installations starting in February. These are more expensive for us, but they are worth it as they eliminate calls about any slow service.

For our existing customers, if you are experiencing slow service but have good signal strength, the newer radios are an ideal solution for this problem. We will swap out the older radio and install the new one for a one-time fee of $150. If there is no improvement, then we'll put the older radio back in and there's no charge. Call us to schedule a swap out.
